Prior to this is would have all sorts of problems. I'm not sure how long you can leave it paused for but it lasts a few minutes on my test devices. I have some evidence (thanks Helge) that some devices might pause/resume whilst loading up the app so that might be the cause of some start up issues, if you've had issue, please try again on this release.
